UNITED WAY CENTRAL NEW BRUNSWICK COMPASSION FUND
Thanks to the financial support of United Way Central New Brunswick's Compassion Fund, FAPO is able to continue with its weekly food distribution on Wednesdays from 10 am to 1 pm during the COVID 19 State of Emergency.
The support of the United Way's Compassion Fund could not have come at a better time for FAPO as we do not receive any municipal, provincial or federal government support. We rely solely on the sale of recycled donated goods through the Yard Sale Store to keep the lights on, pay for our vehicle insurance, etc..
When the government of New Brunswick declared a state of emergency on March 19, FAPO was left with no source of income and we were very concerned how we were going to survive, so the support of the United Way at this important time makes it possible for us to keep providing services to our constituency in Fredericton at a time when they need us most.
We are open on Wednesdays from 10 am to 1 pm for food distribution at the Yard Sale Store. No one will be turned away. There is no means test. Social distancing rules apply. Please be prepared to wear a face mask and gloves when you stand in line and / or enter the building.
